My heart hurts to learn of the passing of my wild, crazy, delightful friend David Stay (aka Mandarr).
It is no exaggeration to say he had a tremendous influence and offered valuable content contributions as I was first creating my websites. David was my first “laser tag” interview for TiviachickLovesLaserTag.com (David: “The name’s too long, nobody will ever remember it!"), he provided nearly all the behind the scenes content archived on PhotonForever.com, he trusted me to proofread his manuscripts, gifted me with sentimental artifacts from the show that started me on my laser tag journey and he always had a smile and a story.
I will miss you my friend, but your light still shines!

RIP Mandar. Man was nuttier than petrified squirrel feces, but was genuine, genial, and had a heart of gold. Greatest irony is the show he's most known for, he played the main baddie trying to kill planets by shooting a crystal with darkness only to do to Photon what the good guys did on the show! Which is to say he brought new life to it by being the best (and maybe only) source from Photon to share so much behind the scenes photos, stories, and information about the experience. Shooting with a camera and shooting in a pro-wrestling sense (as in: speaking candidly). I regret not interacting with him when I had the chance! I didn't know him personally or watch his streams much, but I definitely feel a sense of loss over his passing and will miss him! Shine on, you crazy diamond!
