When my plane landed in Dallas on Saturday morning I was off and running to try to beat my previous personal record of playing ten laser tag arenas in one day. Well, I succeeded! I showed up at the first arena just as their doors opened at 9:00 am and before the clock struck midnight (barely!) I had played my 13th arena in this one single day. What an epic adventure!
Now, 13 arenas means I have a LOT of articles to write about the visits I made during this Texas trip, so please bear with me as I take the time needed to compile all the photos and stories to share. However, in the meantime I will just say that there is a great deal of system variety throughout the Dallas area as I got to play eight different systems including Zone, Laserforce, Delta Strike, Cyber Blast, Lasertron, Laser Runner, Gel Blaster and Battle House tactical. It amazes me how even after playing well over 600 arenas I am still finding cool things that continue to surprise me. I think I’m going to call this ‘geddon for one! :)
